Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone said he and his players want to build a dynasty in Colorado and not settle for one title.
Denver became NBA champion for the first time in franchise history after beating Miami Heat 94:89 and closing the series 4-1.
“I’ve got news for everybody – we’re not going to settle for one title. We want more. Pat Riley said something years ago that I had hanging over my desk when I was working in Sacramento. It was about the evolution of the NBA, how you start from nobody, you become a rookie, then a winner, then a title contender, then a champion. The last step is from being a champion to being a dynasty,” Malone said.

“I think in those 16 playoff wins, we showed what we’re capable of on the biggest stage in the world,” he added.
