Michigan published today that LB manager Chris Partridge has been fired, effective immediately.
The main reason why he was dismissed was that he refused to cooperate with the NCAA probe.
The NCAA presented Michigan with new evidence this week, per @RossDellenger, causing UM to alter its legal approach.

Rick Minter will be the new linebacker coach when the Wolverines face Maryland tomorrow. Partridge worked as Michigan’s director of player personnel in 2015, then was promoted to special teams coach and safeties coach, and then he became linebackers manager from 2016-19.
He left Michigan to work for 3 years as a co-defensive coordinator at Ole Miss before coming to school at the beginning of the year and taking his old job back.
The news that Chris was dismissed comes 1 day after the program announced it was dropping its legal case vs. Big 10 and that boss Jim Harbaugh would serve his 3-match suspension that was given to him by the conference.
