Michigan and manager Jim Harbaugh have agreed to the Big Ten’s 3-match ban of the Wolverines boss, the program shared today, which means that Jim will not lead his team on Saturday at Maryland or in the regular-campaign finale vs. Ohio State.
According to the information, Big 10 agreed to end its probe, which means there won’t be a hearing in the morning as previously was announced.

“Today, the University, Manager Harbaugh, and the Big 10 resolved their pending litigation,” the school’s statement read. “The Conference agreed to close its probe, and the program and the manager agreed to accept the 3-match suspension. Boss Harbaugh, with Michigan’s support, decided to accept this punishment to return the focus to our student-athletes and how they compete on the field.”
The Big 10 also published today that the school withdrew its “legal challenge.”
