HE'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE.

The new deal ties the manager with the club until 2028 with an option for extension for 2029.
Hazen has been instrumental in the D-backs recent success, lifting them to their first playoff qualification since 2017. He was also responsible for bringing catcher Gabriel Moreno and outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. to the franchise, a part of the team’s major rebuild in recent times.
His biggest success in that area is unquestionably bringing rookie Corbin Carroll on an 8-year deal, worth $111 m, despite limited experience in the big league. However, 23-year-old took his chance beautifully and is currently in the running for the NL Rookie of the Year award.
