AC Milan got their second win in a row in Serie A and first in the league for 2024, defeating Empoli 3-0 away.
The Rossoneri opened the scoring early in the 11th minute when Rafael Leao burst on the left side and cut it back at the box for Loftus-Cheek, who was precise to send the ball into the net.
Just over the half-hour mark scissor-kick attempt by the Briton was stopped with a handball and Milan got a penalty, which was perfectly converted by Giroud, who scored his 10th goal of the season.
After the break Empoli had some chances to pulled themselves back into the game, but in the 89th minute Pulisic burs forward on a counter attack and passed to Milan youngster Chaka Traore, who bagged the third to seal the victory for the away side, who are now with 39 points – four behind Juventus, while Inter are far ahead with 48.
