Their Champions League group becomes even more unpredictable

AC Milan got their first win in Champions League this season, beating PSG 2-1 at home with a comeback. The Rossoneri made the so called “Group of death” even more unpredictable as with two rounds to go Dortmund leads with 7 points, PSG have 6, the Italians are with 5 and Newcastle with 4.

As it was expected, Gianluigi Donnarumma was ‘welcomed’ by whistles and fake money, thrown at him from the stands as the Milan supporters showed their feelings for him leaving the team for free three years ago.

The game started good for PSG and despite Milan’s low block, the Paris side scored first in the 9 minute. After a corner kick Milan Skriniar was left alone in the penalty box and headed it home from close range.

The home side didn’t let the early goal affect them and equalized just three minutes later. A lightning counter attack found Giroud in the box, he fired a low shot that was stopped by Donnarumma, but Leao was at the right place to scored a bicycle kick and level the score 1-1.

In the middle of the first half Dembele tried to curl a nice shot into the top left corner, but the ball rattled Maignan’s crossbar. After the break Milan were trying to press PSG and found their moment in the 50 minute. Theo Hernandez crossed perfect ball into the box and Giroud jumped over Skriniar to head it for 2-1.
