Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins left today’s 24-10 victory against the Green Bay Packers in the 4th quarter because of what the organization announced as a right ankle injury.
After the triumph, the media reported that he tore his ACL. Further medical tests will determine if that’s the case.
I feel awful for Kirk Cousins…
Never missed a game due to injury in his career, he’s pulling the Vikings out of 1-4 and back into the playoff race, in a contract season, and he likely tore his Achilles..
Horrible timing for the injury, and you hate to see it happen to a guy… pic.twitter.com/qpzWewOQFZ

The Vikings quarterback, who has missed only 1 National Football League start during his time in the league, was replaced by rookie QB Jaren Hall. Veteran reserve Nick MulLens is sidelined with an injury.
The incident happened with almost 10 minutes left in the match, as his team was leading 24-10 during that time. Before being forced to leave the field, he had completed 23 of 31 passes for 274 yards and 2 TDs.
Kirk will become a free agent after the end of the current campaign. He was leading the league in TD passes before Week 8.
