The Minnesota Vikings must play without 2 key offensive starters in their upcoming match vs. the Cincinnati Bengals.
RB Alexander Mattison and RT Brian O’Neill were both ruled out today because of ankle problems they sustained a week ago in Minnesota’s 3-0 triumph against the Las Vegas Raiders. Neither trained in the past few days.

Mattison has started all 13 of the organization’s matches this campaign and leads the franchise with 660 rushing yards. Manager Kevin O’Connell admitted that 2nd year, RB Ty Chandler will take over the organization’s lead back role, with kick returner Kene Nwangwu and fullback C.J. Ham also helping with carries.
O’Neill also did not miss a match this campaign after recovering from the offseason Achilles procedure. His role on the field will take veteran David Quessenberry.
QB Nick Mullens will be the 4th different starter in a 7-match stretch.
