PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan and Yasir Al-Rumayyan, governor of PIF, met in the Bahamas at the beginning of the week as that could be a crucial step to merge the 2 leagues.

“This is exactly the same thing that we did at the beginning of the year as we discussed an investment offer from the Strategic Sports Group. During the session, the governor of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund had the opportunity to introduce himself to our player directors and share more about his ambitions, priorities, and why he chose to invest in this sport.”
