Tanner (31) played in only 14 matches in the past campaign because of a hand injury, scoring a goal and giving 4 assists.
The forward from Ontario was selected 30th overall during the 2012 NHL Entry Draft out of the Ontario Hockey League’s Barrie Colts by the LA Kings.
Pearson competed in 590 matches over 11 years with Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, and Vancouver and triumphed with the 2014 Stanley Cup during his time in LA.
In his NHL career, the forward has scored 133 goals and has 139 assists.
Pearson has 1 year and 3.25 million dollars remaining on a 3-year, almost 10 million deal inked in 2021.
