Mouratoglou: Djokovic is still the greatest

Novak Djokovic (35) started the year by winning the Australian Open and climbed to the world number 1. However, the Serbian could not travel to the USA because he was unvaccinated and missed the tournaments in California and Miami.

Alcaraz won Indian Wells and took 1^st place for a while, but after being eliminated at Miami Open, Djokovic is again at the top of the rankings even without playing.

“The best player in the world is the world’s No 1, and it’s Nole. If Carlos is No 1 tomorrow, we can say it’s Alcaraz. I think the Spanish again is an incredible player, and I have no doubt that he will be No 1 for years.
