After speculation in the past week that José will become their manager, the Istanbul side shared on social media today that the Special One was to attend a ceremony at their Sukru Saracoglu ground.
“Saracoglu is expecting its new manager Jose Mourinho and its great supporters at 19.00!,” the message said.
Yesterday, the Turkish club shared video message from Mourinho in which he shared with the supporters that he would seem them on Sunday and that’s when their journey will start.
It’s the former Real Madrid boss 1st job since he was fired from AS Roma at the beginning of the year after 2 and a half years with the Wolves as he triumphed with the Europa Conference League in 2022 and played at the Europa League final next season.
Mourinho has not coached outside of the top 5 European leagues since 2004, when he left Porto after triumphing with the UCL to become Chelsea’s manager.
