The Hammers’ head coach, David Moyes, claims he is ready to play Jarrod Bowen as a centre-forward for the rest of the campaign.
The winger has been deputizing as a forward to replace the injured Michail Antonio and is the team’s top scorer this campaign with 10 goals.
Jarrod is set to be from the 1st minute on the pitch vs. Freiburg in Thursday’s Europa League clash.
“I do see it as an opportunity in the future,” Moyes shared of Bowen playing at the heart of the West Ham attack all campaign.
“It’s been not easy for many teams to buy centre-forwards for the right money, and there’s not many available for sale.
“I believe Bowen has been able to step in while Antonio has been unavailable. Jarrod’s netted goals and played very well as number 9.”
