Mudryk‘s goal sends Ukraine to Euro 2024 after 2-1 win vs. Iceland

Ukraine’s 2^nd half comeback, led by Viktor Tsyhankov and Mikhaylo Mudryk, secured their place at UEFA Euro 2024 after eliminating Iceland.

Albert Gudmundsson gave the lead to the Nordic country in the 30^th minute after Hakon Arnar Haraldsson’s assist. Roman Yaremchuk scored to make it 1-1 in the 39^th minute, but his goal was disallowed for offside, and Iceland had a 1-0 lead after the 1^st 45 minutes of the match.

However, at the beginning of the 2^nd half, Viktor Tsygankov netted in the 54^th minute after Georgiy Sudakov’s assist to tie the clash. Mykhailo Mudryk scored the winning goal and completed the comeback of his country in the 84^th minute after Georgiy Sudakov’s 2^nd assist in the match.
