Andy Murray will play world No.14 Alex Di Minaur in the first round, while world No.1 could potentially face Miami winner Daniil Medvedev in the semi-finals.
This will be Djokovic first outing since February after the Serb was prohibited to travel to the USA for Indian Wells and Miami Open due to COVID-19 restrictions. Nevertheless, he still managed to retain the number one spot, despite temporarily dropping it to Alcaraz after the Spaniard triumphed at Indian Wells.
The 35-year old will face either Brandon Nakashima or Mackenzie McDonald in the first round.
Medvedev will face Lorenzo Sonego or a qualifier, while sixth seed Holger Rune will take on either Dominic Thiem or Richard Gasquet.
On the other side of the draw the winner from Murray and Minaur will face either Albert-Ramos Vinola or qualifier and then a potential clash with Casper Ruud in the quarter-finals. Defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas could potentially go against Taylor Fritz later on in the tournament.
