Andy Murray has been included in Great Britain’s Davis Cup team, which is due to face Australia, France and Switzerland in next month.
The 36-year-old was left out for the 3-1 win over Colombia in February, but is put back on the line for the upcoming matches.
The top 2 of Group B will qualify for the knockout stages, scheduled for November in Malaga.
Neal Skupski, Cameron Norrie and Dan Evans have also been included for the 10-time champions who were eliminated in the group stages of last year’s Finals.
Murray played an integral part in Britain’s success in 2015, their first in 79 years and he will be looking to repeat that feat.
“It’s been a long time since we played in the North West and I’m sure we are going to feel and hear a lot of energy from the fans,” captain Leon Smith said.
“We have a great team with a lot of Davis Cup experience who will be ready to give it everything in a tough group.”
