The Serbian recent triumph at the US Open, his 3rd Grand Slam victory this season, took his overall Grand Slams to 24, 2 ahead of the Spaniard.
“I admit that numbers are numbers, and statistics are statistics. In that sense, I think Nole has better numbers than mine, which is a fact,” Nadal shared in an interview with AS published today.
“This is the most important thing. The rest are tastes, inspiration, sensations that 1 or the other may transmit to you, that you may like 1 or the other more,” the Spaniard added. “Regarding trophies, Djokovic is the best in history; there is nothing anyone can say about that.”
