Chelsea are getting ready to send a formal bid for Napoli star Victor Osimhen as they must compete with the Middle East team Al Ahli for the forward.
The West London club manager Enzo Maresca is a fan of Osimhen, and he would like to have the striker in his team as the Blues waited until the final day of the summer window to make an official offer with the expectation to convince him to join for a lower amount.
🚨🇸🇦 Al Ahli have included an affordable and easy release clause for Victor Osimhen as part of their proposal. It’s lower than reported €100m.
As revealed on Sunday, Victor always requested for the clause as key part of negotiations.

While the club from “Stamford Bridge” cannot afford a permanent transfer in the current transfer window, the Blues will try to get him on loan with an obligation to buy him next summer.
Chelsea sent directors to the Italian city to negotiate with the forward and to convince him to join the Premier League.
The Blues are competing with Al Ahli for Victor’s signature. Napoli already accepted the Saudi Arabian club’s bid as they are ready to pay 80 million euros for Osimhen and are ready to pay the forward between 25 and 30 million euros per season on a 4-year contract.
