Napoli continue Osimhen renewal talks

Napoli are still hopeful that star striker Victor Osimhen will agree to sign a new contract before the end of the season. President Aurelio de Laurentiis has held another meeting with the player’s agent in recent days. The boss, Osimhen and his agent Roberto Calenda were spotted in Naples at the end of this week and once again discussed the subject of the Nigerian’s new contract, Tuttomercato reports.

Osimhen’s contract expires in the summer of 2025, but Napoli are desperate for him to sign a renewal before the end of this campaign to avoid entering the final year of his contract in 2024. Many of the most elite and richest clubs in world are keeping a close eye on the situation in case the striker refuses to renew, as that would bring down his price and pressure Napoli to agree to a sale so as not to let him run out of money at a later stage.
