Napoli makes one more step towards the title with 2-0 over Atalanta

Serie A leader Napoli got one step closer to the title with important 1-0 win over Atalanta.

Napoli were dominant in the first half with Politano and Kvaratskhelia having great chances to score, but Gollini made some great saves.

Second half started in same fashion with Victor Osimhen being close to the goal two times. Atalanta’s defence broke down. Kvaratskhelia got the ball outside the penalty box and showed some amazing skills, faking a shot two times, sending defenders the wrong way before striking the ball into the net for 1-0.

In the 77th minute Rahmani got the second for Napoli with a perfect header making sure they get the three points.

Now Napoli sits even more comfortably on top of the standings with 68 points with a large gap of 18 points above second place Inter. Atalanta are still 6th with 42, continuing the fight for top 4 finish.
