The ex-Wolverhampton captain joined the Saudi Arabian side during the summer transfer window for almost 60 million dollars.
Recently, many rumors said that Newcastle would get the player on loan by Al-Hilal, as the 2 teams have the same owner, and such a transfer will not be hard to make.
But the midfielder denied that scenario as he prefers to play in Saudi Arabia and not return to the Premier League in January.
“For me, there are rumors because of the owner of the teams, without a doubt, and because I’ve played in the Premier League as well,” Neves shared.
“There was interest from the Magpies in the past when I came here, but I’m enjoying my time in Saudi Arabia; my family’s really happy, so I would prefer to stay here.”
