New England Patriots QB Mac Jones began from the 1st minute on the field today vs. the New York Giants in the Big Apple – coming off a match in which he was benched after a late 4th quarter pick – but manager Bill Belichick turned to reserve Bailey Zappe to start in the 2nd half.

Mac threw 2 picks in the 1st half as New England trailed 7-0 when Bill replaced him. Jones was 12-of-21 for 89 yards in the 1st half, with New York ultimately turning his 2nd pick into the halftime-only touchdown in the clash.
As to who would play against the Giants, the Pats head coach refused to reveal during the week. His only thoughts on the theme were that each player in his organization must be ready to compete and be on the field at any time.
