The latest Manchester United transfer, Rasmus Hojlund, is likely to miss the start of the campaign for his club, after suffering an injury. In his latest exclusive column for CaughtOffside, sports journalist Fabrizio Romano stated that the Red Devils were aware of the Dane’s injury and it is yet unknown when he will make his debut for the team.
“Manchester United introduced Rasmus Hejlund on Saturday ahead of the pre-season game with Lance. The player is injured at the moment, but it’s nothing serious, just a small problem he picked up during the pre-season with Atalanta. Therefore, Manchester United will not take any a risk with the new season so close. The Manchester club were aware of that before signing him. I don’t know when Hojlund will be able to play for his new team. All I know is that the deal is done and Erik ten Hag have their new striker.”, Romano revealed.
The deal for the Danish striker was made official on Saturday and is worth 83 million euros.
