Newcastle demolish Tottenham with six goals to stay in top 4 battle

Newcastle played one of their best games of the season and destroyed one of their rivals for top 4 finish – Tottenham 6-1 at home.

The Magpies didn’t wait long to open the scoresheet and Jacob Murphy fired a rebound into the top right corner inside the first 2 minutes of play.

Just four minutes later Fabian Schar sent a precise pass to Joelinton, who was able to go around the keeper and slide the ball into the net.

Four minutes into the second half Hary Kane pulled one back for Spurs, but it couldn’t make a difference as Newcastle scored sixth in the 67 minute through Callum Wilson.
