Guimaraes quickly became an indispensable part of Eddie How’s squad and has 10 goals and 6 assists in 63 games for the Magpies. The player himself is feeling excellent in England and didn’t make any problems regarding his new deal, which will have a salary increase as well.
In the summer Manchester City were interested in the player, but the negotiations didn’t go far as Bruno wanted to stay with Newcastle in their Champions League return.
