San Francisco 49ers DE Nick Bosa has returned with his franchise for only 2 days, but he left no doubt today that he wants to be on the field on Sunday vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“I’m confident,” the defensive end shared. “I don’t know what manager Kyle [Shanahan’s] plan is, but I would be ready to play.”

Nick, speaking to Bay Area media for the 1st time since inking a record-setting 5-year, 170 million dollar deal extension that features almost 123 million dollars in guarantees in the morning, took part in training on a limited basis yesterday and then was listed as a full participant in 49ers’ half-speed session today.
San Francisco’s head coach shared 2 days ago that he thinks that Bosa will be on the field on Sunday, as the manager joked that the only way that the defensive end would miss the opener is if he showed up to practice with a “beer belly.”
