The center agents told ESPN’s Wojnarowski that the contract is for 3 campaigns and Nikola will earn for the whole period 60 million dollars.
The player, who will be 33 years old at the beginning of the next NBA campaign, participated in all 82 matches and scored more than 17 points per game for Chicago in the past season.
Nikola’s notching and boarding stability and his lack of injuries were the main reasons the Bulls offered him a contract extension. He joined Chicago from the Orlando Magic in 2021 for two 1st round picks.
