The home side made fans at National Arena Toshe Proeski happy.

North Macedonia and England finished 1-1 at National Arena Toshe Proeski in Skopje in front of almost 35,000 spectators.

Surprisingly or not, the home nation had the lead after the 1st half. That happened after they received a penalty, and even though Enis Bardhi missed it, he scored from the rebound to give North Macedonia the lead in the 41st minute.

However, when I tell you who leveled the result, I will not shock anyone. Harry Kane replaced Ollie Watkins in the 58th minute, and only a minute later, he netted to make it 1-1 after Phil Foden’s assist. Later, the goal was ruled out as Jani Atanasov’s own goal.

North Macedonia finished the qualifiers in the 4th position with 8 points, while England topped Group C with 20 points – 6 more than 2nd Italy.
