The team lodge complained over officials in the Red Devils clash.

Nottingham Forest have lodged an official complaint with the PGMOL over the conduct of the officials’ team in their 3-2 loss against the Red Devils at Old Trafford.

Nottingham head coach Steve Cooper said he must “bite his tongue” over what he wants to tell about official Stuart Attwell and his team.

The referee gave Joe Worrall a red card midway in the 2nd half, picking him to be the last player on defense when he fouled Bruno Fernandes – even though his partner on defense, Willy Boly, was near him.

Steve then gave a penalty to the Red Devils for a foul on Marcus Rashford, which many people shared was non-existent. The Portugal international and captain of Manchester United converted the penalty to make it 3-2 for his side and to secure the 3 points from the clash.

VAR official Robert Jones checked both decisions but didn’t call Attwell to review them on the screen.
