Novak Djokovic defeated Casper Ruud 3-0 sets in the final in Roland-Garros and won his 23rd Grand Slam as he became the tennis player with most Grand Slams championships.
The Serbian won the 1st set after a tiebreak 7-6 (1) and then closed the 2nd 6-3 and the 3rd 7-5 for 3 hours and 16 minutes on the court to win the French Open for the 3rd time in his career.

Djokovic will be the new world number 1 from Monday as he will get ahead of Carlos Alcaraz, who the Serbian eliminated in the ½ final at the French Open.

The Serbian also won the Australian Open at the beginning of the year and will have a chance to win all 4 Grand Slams in the same season.
