Nuggets beats Suns 97-87 to take 2-0 series lead

Nikola Jokic scored 39 points and added 16 rebounds in Denver’s 97-87 victory over Phoenix to take a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference semifinals. Aaron Gordon added 16 points and Caldwell-Pope had 14.

Devin Booker scored 35 points for Suns, while Kevin Durant had 24 and Deandre Ayton added 14 for Phoenix, who lost one of their leaders Chris Paul to a third-quarter injury.
