Murray's blistering 4th quarter helping the Denver team prevail

The Denver Nuggets emerged victorious 108-103 against the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 2 for a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference finals on Thursday night.


Jamal Murray was the star of the show as he bagged 37 points, 23 of which came in frantic 4th quarter, where the Denver team turned the match around as they went on a 15-1 run to earn a solid 96-8 lead.

Nikola Jokic had yet another solid performance as he finished the game with 23 points, 17 rebound and 12 assists(his 13th playoff triple-double).

The Nuggets improved to 41-8 at home and 8-0 in the playoffs, which is best in the NBA.

For Lakers LeBron James and Austin Reaves each scored 22 points, while Anthony Davis added another 18, after reaching 40 in Game 1. Rui Hachimra scored 21 points from the bench.

Game 3 will be held on Saturday night at Crypto.com Arena, where the Lakers are unbeaten in the last eight playoff games.
