The Denver Nuggets have said to the agent of Jonas Valanciunas that the organization fully expects the player to honor his deal.
Denver agreed to a trade with the Kings to get the center in exchange for Dario Saric. The Nuggets informed the Lithuanian that they will not let him out of the remaining 2 years of his deal. Jonas is wanted by Panathinaikos in Greece.

The trade between the Nuggets and the Kings is not official yet.
Denver wants Jonas to be the reserve of the superstar Nikola Jokic as the franchise searched for a center to help the team when the Serbian is resting.
Jonas, who averaged over 10 points and almost 8 boards for Sacramento and Washington in the past campaign, will earn more than 10 million dollars in the upcoming campaign and has 10 million dollars left for the following campaign. The final year of his deal is nonguaranteed.
The Lithuanian’s deal is binding and does not allow him to leave unless he and the Nuggets agree on a buyout, but Denver doesn’t want that to happen, and we will most likely watch him in the NBA in the upcoming season.
