Nuno ready to replace dismissed Cooper in Nottingham

Nottingham Forest have begun discussions with Nuno Espírito Santo about becoming their next head coach after Steve Cooper was let go today after a run that left the club beaten in 5 of their last 6 matches.

Nuno has previously been head coach of the EPL teams Wolverhampton and Tottenham. His last managerial position was in Saudi Arabia with Al-Ittihad, whom the Portuguese guided to the title in May before being dismissed in November.

Nottingham are in the 17^th place in the Premier League and have only 1 victory in their last 13 games. Cooper became just the 2^nd head coach sacked by a Premier League team this campaign after the Blades dismissed Paul Heckingbottom at the beginning of December.
