Saquon shared in a podcast a few days ago that he considers even missing the upcoming campaign and not playing for New York because of the stalemate with the organization over a long-term deal.
The team and the RB did not agree to a contract before the deadline for the organization’s players to sign long-term deals. As a result, Barkley would have had to compete in this campaign under the 10 million dollar team’s tender.
New York training camp will start today for veterans; the running back is expected from the 1st day.
Saquon finished the past campaign 4th in the league with a career-high 1,312 rushing yards, scored 10 TDs, and evened for the franchise lead with 57 receptions.
