Given the fact what happened after Rodgers was ruled out for the season, Jets will ink veteran QB Trevor Siemian to their training squad.
Trevor (31) was dismissed by the Cincinnati Bengals in the preseason and will become a teammate with Zach Wilson and Tim Boyle in the QB room. The signing came 2 days after another disappointing display by Wilson, who still has the head coach’s support.

Zach will start on Sunday vs. the Kansas City Chiefs, manager Robert Saleh shared, but Siemian gives them a QB with starting experience, and he could be on the field from the 1st minute soon if Wilson continues to play badly.
Siemian’s NFL record is 13-17, with 42 TDs and 28 picks. The Broncos QB1 in 2016 and 2017, Siemian has been relegated to reverse QB since being let go by Denver.
