New York Jets began their training camp today with Aaron Rodgers as QB1, but at the same time, the NFL organization from the Big Apple decided to part ways with Denzel Mims.
The #Jets did not release WR Denzel Mims today, despite informing him of their plans. This keeps open the possibility of a trade.

WR Denzel Mims, a 2nd round pick at the 2020 NFL Draft who never received a chance from the current franchise coaching team, was told he would be dismissed if they couldn’t trade him.
New York is trying to trade the wide receiver who requested a trade 1 season ago but will be waived if the franchise fails to make a deal for him with another organization.
Denzel was excused from the training camp and was not with his teammates at the beginning of their preseason. That doesn’t surprise anyone, as the WR has just 42 catches for 676 yards and still hasn’t scored a TD in 3 years in the NFL.
Talent-wise, the #Patriots should be interested in Denzel Mims
