Martin Odegaard admitted that Arsenal need to do a better job, when closing out the match.
Mikel Arteta’s men went 2-0 up against Wolverhampton, but a lapse of concentration led to the visitors reducing it to 2-1. That led to nervy finish at the Emirates, but the Gunners eventually prevailed.
“We started so strong again. The first half was brilliant. We scored two good goals and dominated everything.” Odegaard said.
“We let them in a little bit with the goal, but that’s football. I guess we have to learn from that.”
“We know in the Premier League that you can never switch off. Today was a good example of that. We have to make sure we do even better next time we go 2-0 up.”
Nevertheless, the Dane expressed his delight from the result as it cemented Arsenal’s place atop of the Premier League with 33 points.
