After his injury, the Royal club’s only available center-backs are Antonio Rudiger and Nacho Fernandez. Eder Militao is also out with a torn ACL, and it is still unclear if the Brazilian defender could return before the season ends.
That’s the 3rd ACL injury this campaign for Real, as Thibaut Courtois is also out with the same problem.
The La Liga giants’ head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, confirmed the negative news: “Alaba has torn his ACL, and it’s unfortunate news.”
“This is the 1st time in my managerial career 3 of my players are tearing their ACLs… I can’t believe it”.
