Borussia Dortmund has secured the loan signing of forward Jadon Sancho until the end of the season, as announced by the club. The Englishman, currently under contract with Manchester United, has signed a loan agreement with Borussia Dortmund until June 30, 2024.
Sancho will wear the number 10 jersey during his second stint at Signal Iduna Park, having previously been a pivotal part for the club before moving to Manchester.
“Jadon is a player who makes a difference, and I look forward to seeing him back in black and yellow soon. He is familiar with this city, Signal Iduna Park, our fans, and our club. Although he has not played a competitive match in recent months, we are confident that he will quickly re-establish himself with us, find his best form, and help us achieve our season goals with his qualities,” stated BVB Sporting Director Sebastian Kehl.

“When I entered the locker room today, I felt like I was ‘coming home.’ I know the club from the inside, have always been very close to the fans here, and have never lost contact with the people. I can’t wait to see my teammates again, step onto the field, play football with a smile on my face, provide assists, score goals, and help the club qualify for the Champions League,” expressed Jadon Sancho.
The 23-time English international played a total of 137 matches for Borussia Dortmund between 2017 and 2021, scoring 50 goals and providing 64 assists.
