Oilers beat Stars 2-1 to advance to the Stanley Cup final

For the Edmonton Oilers, the process from worst to 1^st in the West is complete. And now they will have the opportunity to lift the title.

Connor McDavid scored and assisted in the 1^st period to get Oilers going, Stuart Skinner made 34 saves for his hometown organization and Edmonton secured its place in the Stanley Cup final by winning 2-1 against the Dallas Stars at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB.

Edmonton will travel to Florida for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final, as the matchup is set to begin at the beginning of the weekend. “When the game finished, that’s the loudest I ever heard it,” McDavid shared of the atmosphere at Rogers Place after the triumph as the supporters chanted that they want the title.
