Oilers top Kings 5-4 after OT to tie series

Zach Hyman notched the triumph goal at 10:39 of the OT, and the Edmonton Oilers came back from 3 goals behind in the 1st period to win against the Los Angeles Kings 5-4 at crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA.

Zach’s goal in the overtime was his 1st goal in the playoffs and helped his franchise to even the 1st round series 2-2.

Leon Draisaitl finished with 2 goals and an assist, Evan Bouchard scored and had 2 assists, while Evander Kane tied with his goal in the 3rd period. Connor McDavid gave 3 assists; Jack Campbell stopped 27 shots after replacing  Stuart Skinner, who played the 1st period for Oilers.

Viktor Arvidsson notched and assisted for the Los Angeles team, and Kevin Fiala gave 2 assists in his 1st game since the beginning of the month. Gabriel Vilardi, Anze Kopitar, and Matt Roy notched the other goals as Joonas Korpisalo made 35 saves.

Game 5 from the series is on Tuesday in Canada.
