The Sky Blues won the silverware at Wembley by beating the Gunners.

Manchester City won 2-0 against Arsenal at the EFL Cup final at Wembley as the big hero for the Sky Blues became Nico O’Reilly, who scored twice within 4 minutes in the 2nd half and practically won the trophy for his team.

Pep Guardiola’s side were the underdogs before the final, but they kept a clean sheet and won the 1st trophy in England this season, as they are still in the battle with Mikel Arteta’s side for the Premier League title.

The 1st half finished without goals as the Gunners had a good chance at the beginning of the match, while the Sky Blues answered in the end of the half, but neither situation led to a goal.

The crucial moment in the final came in the 60th minute when Kepa Arrizabalaga made a huge mistake as he gifted the ball to Nico O’Reilly, who scored after an hour.

Only 4 minutes later, Matheus Nunes with a phenomenal cross found Nico O’Reilly in the box, and he scored his 2nd goal in the match to make his team a huge favorite for the victory.

Until the end, the Gunners had a few chances, but failed to score any, and Manchester City won the EFL Cup.
