The All-NBA guard left in the 3rd quarter of Game 2’s defeat at TD Garden after aggravating the problem.
He missed 10 matches with a left hamstring strain sustained at the beginning of the year vs. Boston, and the problem has limited him at points this campaign.
After notching 25 points and providing 10 assists in Game 1, the guard had 10 points and 8 assists in Game 2. Indiana outscored Boston by 1 point with Tyrese on the court in the latest match between the teams but was outscored by 17 when he was not playing.
Indiana head into Game 3 in Indianapolis down 2-0 in the matchup and must win tonight if they want to keep their chances to advance to the NBA finals.
