Tatum-Brown duo wasn't enough for Boston with 62 points and 21 rebounds combined

In an exciting matchup, Tyrese Haliburton showcased his skills by notching the first triple-double of his career. He sealed the deal with a tiebreaking four-point play with just 1:33 remaining on the clock, leading the Indiana Pacers to a 122-112 victory over league-leading Boston and securing their spot in the In-Season Tournament last four.

Haliburton’s stellar performance included 26 points, 13 assists, and 10 rebounds, with 16 of his points coming in the second half. Myles Turner added 17 points and 10 rebounds, contributing to a well-rounded effort from the Pacers as seven players reached double figures. Indiana maintained their unbeaten record in the tournament, finishing 4-0 in group play.

Despite a strong showing from Boston’s dynamic duo, with Jayson Tatum recording 32 points and 12 rebounds, and Jaylen Brown finishing with 30 points and nine rebounds, it wasn’t enough to extend their three-game winning streak. All-Star Kristaps Porzingis’ absence due to a strained left calf posed a challenge for the Celtics.

Despite a resilient effort, Boston fell short, and Indiana seized control in the decisive moments, culminating in Haliburton’s 27-footer drawing a foul on Brown and sparking a game-changing 9-0 run.
