The Florida team ran riot and deservedly won

The Florida Panthers came out on top in their clash against the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-1 on Friday night.

Eetu Luostarinen got the go-ahead goal in the third period to help Florida edge out. Oliver Ekman-Larsson also scored, while Anton Lundell notched two assists. Aleksander Barkov got an empty-netter to seal the win for Florida, who have won 3 out of their last 4 games.

Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky had a stunning game as he made 26 saves.

“I think our goaltending has been really good this year, but there haven’t been a lot of nights where we needed them to be the dominant player,” Panthers coach Paul Maurice said. “But tonight, Sergei had to be the difference in the second period because that game is over and there is no coming back if he isn’t as good as he was.”

Reilly Smith was the sole scorer for the Penguins as they endured another painful night, recording 4th straight loss.
