Lohrei managed to knot the score at 4-4 with just 3:09 remaining, executing a bank shot from behind the goal line. Linus Ullmark, with 34 saves, played a pivotal role in Boston’s triumph, bringing their record to an impressive 19-5-4.
The New York Islanders saw goals from Brock Nelson, Bo Horvat, Alexander Romanov, and Simon Holmstrom, with Ilya Sorokin making 29 saves. Despite their recent four-game winning streak, New York fell short in the shootout against the Bruins.
