The New England Patriots presented a bronze statue of Tom Brady outside Gillette Stadium as the owner of the franchise, Robert Kraft, said he would do when the legendary quarterback was inducted into the organization’s Hall of Fame in 2024.
The statue is 12 feet tall to represent the number 12 jersey that Brady wore during his 20-year career with New England as he triumphed with 6 Super Bowls during that period.
“I’m very honored to have a statue here,” shared Tom at the beginning of his speech.
“This is something phenomenal, and I love that they did it before I’m really old,” joked Brady.

Tom also talked about his early days in the organization and how he wanted to get a chance to be on the field after being picked in the 6th round of the 2000 NFL Draft, and admitted that he never expected to have the career that he had and to stand here today at his statue unveiling.
The unveiling of his statue happened 1 and a half hours before the Pats’ preseason opener vs. the Commanders. New England won that match 48-18 to make the mood among its fans even better.
“This statue isn’t just for Pats fans. It will also give all the Jets fans something to throw their beers at as they leave the stadium every year.”
