The rest of the finalists are Grant Williams (Celtics), Jaren Jackson Jr. (Grizzlies), and Tre Jones (Spurs).
They are selected for their inspirational social justice work as they continue the legacy of the great National Basketball League legend Abdul Jabbar whose aim is to help the disadvantaged and marginalized people.
The reward winner will receive 100,000 dollars from the NBA that he will choose to donate to an organization that fights for social justice. The other finalists will get 25,000 dollars; they will need to do the same with the received money.
Reggie Bullock (Dallas Mavericks) won the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award last year.
