Reports from Goal suggest that the ex-Manchester United player Paul Pogba is due to miss the Europa league last 16 tie against Freiburg, after being dropped from the group by Max Allegri.
Pogba was on course to finally make his debut start for Juventus after a dreadful first season with the Italian side, which saw him play only 35 minutes in total.
The Frenchman second spell with the Italian club is turning into a real nightmare, after the attacking midfielder had been hit by heavy injuries, which forced him to the sidelines for the majority of the campaign. Many pundits believe that the Juventus team’s patience is running out, since he is being paid around €10m-a-year.
The cause for manager Allegri decision is disciplinary (something which Pogba is infamous for), after the attacking midfielder failed to turn up in time for a team meeting.
The Frenchman was already an object of scrutinity last month, when he was pictured enjoying a skiing trip, while the team were focused on their home duties.
The latest incident is another blow to Juventus horror season, which saw them crash out of the Champions League in the group stage and being docked 15 points in Serie A for the accounting accusations back in November, which dropped them from 3rd to 9th place.
The Turin team currently sits 7th with a fine run of 4 consecutive victories and is facing Freiburg at home for a first leg last 16 Europa League match on Thursday night.
